Timothy J. Thompson, President & CEO

Tim Thompson is the President of Old Dominion Asset Management, Inc. His observation of inherent conflicts of interest while working with banks and brokerage firms, led him to establish an independent firm in 1995 guided by the Golden Rule.Tim is a graduate of VCU and native of Richmond. He now resides in Goochland with his wife, Elizabeth, and their seven children. Tim is a Board Member of the Goochland YMCA and served as the Chairman of the Major Gifts Committee. Along with being active in his community, Tim enjoys being outside hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. 

Bryan K, Berry, Managing Director

Bryan Berry, CMFC, CRPC, AIF® is a graduate of James Madison University and has concentrated his career on helping his clients grow and maintain their wealth.  He is a Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association.  Prior to joining Old Dominion in 2014, he was Managing Director of Trendline Capital Management where he served in that role from September, 2001.  Previously he was Owner/President of Beacon Capital Management, a registered investment advisory firm, which he formed in 1997. His primary area of practice involves managing investments for retirees and consulting for and managing corporate retirement plans. Bryan and his wife, Anne, have been married for 27 years and have two sons, Kenner and Zac.

 

Andrew B. Joyner, Operations Manager, VP

Andrew handles our client relations, research, and other operational tasks as needed. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College where he majored in Economics and Commerce. Prior to joining our team he worked at MetLife, EXL Services, and Money Guide Pro, all in the Richmond area. Andrew is a Richmond native but has recently moved to Montpelier where he and his wife, Chelsea, have a property for their horses.
